1. Honey Lemon Detox Drink
Ingredients:
Warm water – 1 cup
Lemon juice – 1 tbsp
Honey – 1 tbsp
Method:
Mix honey and lemon juice into warm water and drink on an empty stomach in the morning for immunity and digestion support.
2. Honey Ginger Kashayam (For Cough & Cold)
Ingredients:
Water – 1 cup
Fresh ginger – 1 inch piece, crushed
Black pepper – 4-5
Honey – 1 tbsp
Method:
Boil water with ginger and pepper for 5 minutes. Strain and add honey before drinking.
3. Honey Chutney for Idli/Dosa (Sweet & Tangy)
Ingredients:
Grated coconut – ½ cup
Tamarind – small piece
Dry red chilli – 1
Honey – 2 tbsp
Method:
Grind coconut, tamarind, chilli, and salt. Mix in honey just before serving for a unique twist.
4. Honey-Glazed Chicken
Ingredients:
Chicken pieces – 250g
Soy sauce – 2 tbsp
Garlic – 2 cloves, minced
Honey – 3 tbsp
Method:
Mix soy sauce, garlic, and honey. Marinate chicken for 30 mins. Pan fry until golden and sticky.
5. Honey Fruit Salad
Ingredients:
Mixed fruits (banana, apple, papaya, pomegranate) – 2 cups
Lemon juice – 1 tsp
Honey – 2 tbsp
Method:
Mix fruits, drizzle with honey and lemon juice. Serve chilled.
6. Honey & Cardamom Milk (Bedtime Drink)
Ingredients:
Warm milk – 1 cup
Honey – 1 tbsp
Cardamom powder – a pinch
Method:
Add honey and cardamom to warm milk. Drink before bed for better sleep.
7. Honey Rava Kesari (Healthy Sweet)
Ingredients:
Rava – 1 cup
Ghee – 2 tbsp
Honey – ½ cup
Water – 2 cups
Cardamom – a pinch
Method:
Roast rava in ghee, add boiling water, stir till cooked. Turn off heat, mix in honey and cardamom.
